What is Thermography?

Have you heard of Thermography? Do you know what it is or how it can help women with their breast health?

Fever Phobia? Knowing the facts and when to go to the hospital.

Our bodies are programmed to have a fever from time to time. Its healthy to a point, it
kills bacteria in our bodies, and its an intelligent evolutionary thing. We’re also
programmed to fear the fever as well. In fact, a survey done in 1992 and 2000 showed
that nearly half of paediatricians would give Tylenol or Advil, the majority of them
alternating between them. They also believed this approach to be the medical guideline
when, in fact, there were no guidelines telling them to do this (1). Either way, for parents
and physicians alike, fever can be scary in the moment. Just remember this, fever isn’t
inherently bad, the underlying cause of the fever is what needs to be addressed.

Your Natural First Aid Kit: Dealing With Childhood Injuries

Cuts, bumps, scrapes and bruises. It’s all part of being a kid – or at least it was when I was a kid and played outside every day in the summer. But it’s important to care for those scrapes properly. After all, a small injury can become something much worse if it gets infected.

Three tips to follow when packing your back pack.

Our chiropractors, physiotherapist and massage therapists all agree that the back pack can add unwanted stresses to our bodies and can affect your child’s health. It’s common to see kids carrying far too much weight in their backpacks to and from school. And though kids may think its cool to carry the load over one shoulder, the combination of weight and poor posture can lead to head, neck and shoulder pain which is not cool.

What to Look for when Purchasing a New Mattress Like Purple or Nectar

One of the key things I always recommend before buying a mattress is doing some due diligence. That means doing consultations and research on the different brands in the market, and finally identifying the one(s) that meet your specific needs and preferences.
