Self Care Group @ The Women's Centre

June 1 - Women's Centre of Halton - 12:30pm - 1:30pm

If you tend to take care of everyone else and leave little time and energy for yourself, join us for our self-care group. Teaching women to take time to focus on themselves.

 

Downtown Milton Street Festival

June 2 - Downtown Milton - 12pm - 11pm

Join us for this FREE community celebration in the street! The Downtown Milton Street Festival attracts over 90,000 attendees and features live entertainment, vendors, local businesses and community organizations in Milton’s downtown.

Relay for Life in Milton

June 8 - Country Heritage Park - 6pm - 12am

The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life is a nationwide event that brings communities together to celebrate survivors, honour those we’ve lost and commit to raising funds to fight all types of cancer. Relay For Life brings people of all ages together to raise funds to help Canada’s brightest researchers discover breakthroughs that could save lives, and ensure vital support services are available so that no one will have to face cancer alone.

 

Tattoos 'N Whiskey present Music for Autism

June 9 - Royal Canadian Legion Branch 136 - 4pm - 10pm

Music for Autism is a ticketed musical event to raise funds and awareness for Autism . All funds raised through this event and the donation link, go directly to Autism Ontario. Tattoos 'N Whiskey are hosting a line up of musical guests throughout the evening.

 

Milton Family Night Social

June 18 - Hugh Foster Hall - 6pm - 8pm

Impacted by a child or youth’s mental health? Want to connect with Halton families who can relate? Bring the whole family and join us for a social evening in a friendly and supportive environment. Join us as together we kick off summer and play a few rounds of BINGO. 

 

Tee Off for Her Golf Tournament

June 18 - Lowville Golf Club - 1pm - 9pm

The Women's Centre of Halton is having its first annual golf tournament. Help us keep our doors open to vulnerable women in our community!

Prices:
$125 for Golf, Cart, Swag Bag, and 3 Course Prime Rib Dinner
$75 for Golf, Cart, and Swag Bag
$50 for 3 Course Prime Rib Dinner

 

Pretty in Pink, A fundraiser for Melanie De Souza and Family

June 22 - Rad Brothers Sports Bar and Tap House - 5pm - 11pm

During the past year, Melanie De Souza was diagnosed with breast cancer. Melanie and her family fought hard to try and beat this devastating diagnosis. After keeping a positive outlook for such a long time the De Souza family thought they were through the worst of it. Unfortunately, in the past few weeks they have learned the cancer has spread, so now Melanie and her family have another tough battle on their hands.
Our hope is that this event will show the De Souza family that they do not fight alone, that they have friends that love and support them. We are looking to raise money in order to help relieve some of the Burden that comes as part of their fight against cancer.

 

Walk2Talk

June 23 - Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park - 9am - 3pm

Warm-up for the walk with Monica from YogafyMylife (join anytime between 9:15-9:45am).

Enjoy food from various local vendors and family zone activities including face painting, bounce house, and more! Music will be provided by DJ Chris. Daffy Dill the Clown will be twisting balloon animals! Children of all ages love Daffy’s unique and sometimes animated sculptures.
This is a family & pet friendly event.

 

38th Annual Strawberry Fair

June 23 - Milton Fairgrounds - 8am - 4pm

Breakfast and lunch served by the Optimist Club Of Milton. Ariel, a Jedi Master & Spiderman will be there. Strawberries, Ice Cream, Shortcake, Water, Pop & Coffee and Slushies served ALL DAY LONG. Other Food Vendors include: Troy's Diner Inc and Ice Cream For You. Cupcake decorating station by Real Canadian Superstore, Bouncy castle, Sand Pile, Infamous Teddy Bear Hospital & Adoption Centre, Fire Truck & Mini Train, BRB K9's "DARN GOOD DOGS" Dog Show, Milton Concert Band, House of Chords, Stagecoach Performing Arts Milton and Burlington. The local Vendor's Marketplace; White Elephant Sale; Car Dealership Showcase and much more.  All proceeds support Milton District Hospital.

 

MOWCF 6th Annual Game On! Outdoor Ball Hockey Tournament For ROCK

June 23 - Milton Orthotic & Wellness Centre - 8am - 6pm

The cause is kids’ mental health. Building ROCK solid kids builds ROCK solid adults.
Promotes physical activity and friendships. For a $10 entry fee we don’t exclude anyone. Fee includes Participant Medal, Team t-shirt, Protective eyewear, Name on the Stanley Cup. Unique event – Outdoor Ball Hockey Tournament with custom made rinks in the middle of a retail plaza.
