Winter Sleigh RIdes

Mountsberg Raptor Centre Weekends & holidays from Dec 26 - Feb 16 10am - 4pm

Enjoy the thrill of a brisk winter sleigh ride followed by hot chocolate and marshmallows around a campfire (additional fee applies).

Snowshoe rentals are available in the gift shop. Meet some of the Mountsberg Raptors nose to beak in a live Bird of Prey show at 12pm & 2pm ! Better yet, experience a behind the scenes tour of the Mountsberg Raptor Centre when you book a Raptor Encounter.The Wildlife Walkway, Cameron Farm Yard and Play Barn are yours to explore!

 

Courage Polar Bear Dip

Coronation Park  Jan 1  12:30pm - 3:30pm

Join hundreds of dippers and thousands of spectators at Coronation Park in Oakville as they take the plunge into the icy cold waters of Lake Ontario to help provide clean water in developing countries. Enjoy the live music and festival atmosphere with family and friends, take part in the dip as a wild way to ring in the new year or join us dressed in your craziest costume to win prizes and later see yourself on the news.

Net proceeds from the Courage Polar Bear Dip are given to World Vision Canada clean water programs to benefit kids and their communities in Rwanda.

 

Lakeside Festival of Lights

Spencer Smith Park  Jan 7 - Jan 8

Over 60 festive displays light up Burlington’s Spencer Smith Park through the holiday season. Wander through the park with family and friends, or get a full view of the themed displays while driving along Lakehshore Road at the city’s waterfront. it’s a magical sight for the whole family, especially the young at heart.

 

100 Women Who Care - 2018 First Meeting

What if you could be a part of a group of women that raises $10,000 for a Milton based charity in under an hour?  It's simple: We meet. We connect. We vote. We donate.

 

Lego Club - Jungle

Ireland House   Jan 14  1:30pm - 3:30pm

Watch out! Phew, you almost stepped on a giant jungle beetle! Keep an eye out today as we build our own jungle tree houses and river boats. We’ll also be making binoculars before we head out to look for exotic animals. Lego Club is a supervised drop-off program which takes place one Sunday per month throughout the school year. Each month the Lego Club activities are guided by a different theme, and incorporate Lego building, games, and crafts. 

 

CNOY Milton 2018 - Launch Party
